Privacy Act of 1974; System of Records

In accordance with the Privacy Act of 1974, the DoD is modifying and reissuing a current system of records titled, "DON Child and Youth Program," NM01754-3. This system of records was originally established to verify children's health and immunization status, determine program eligibility for children and families, and support childcare programs designed to meet their needs. This system of records notice (SORN) is being updated to align with current cybersecurity policies, guidelines, and regulations. These updates include incorporating the DoD standard routine uses (A through J) and expanding the information collection authority and purpose. These changes ensure the Navy and Marine Corps Child and Youth Program can maintain accurate family and staff records for reporting. Lastly, the DoD is also modifying additional sections to improve clarity and reflect changes. The official record describes this as a completed action.
