Airworthiness Directives; The Boeing Company Airplanes

The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all The Boeing Company Model 777-200, -200LR, -300, -300ER, and 777F series airplanes. This AD was prompted by a report of an overheated alternating current motor pump (ACMP) that caused a fire in the main landing gear (MLG) wheel well. This AD requires a records check or inspection for any installed ACMP with a certain part number and applicable on-condition actions. This AD also prohibits the installation of affected parts. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products. The official record describes this as a completed action.
